Founder & Nanny

Originally from Wellington, I moved to Queenstown and quickly fell in love with its beautiful surroundings and adventurous lifestyle. With a background in early childhood education, support work, youth mentoring, sports coaching and nannying, caring for children has always been a big part of my life.

After attending family weddings and seeing parents miss parts of the celebrations to care for their little ones, I realised how valuable trusted wedding childcare could be. I wanted to create a service that allows parents to relax, celebrate and enjoy these special moments, knowing their children are in safe and caring hands.

Since moving to Queenstown, I've been lucky to build lovely, lasting connections with local families and families visiting on holiday. These relationships are a big part of why I love what I do, and what inspired me to grow Queenstown Wedding Nanny into a service that connects families with caring, experienced and reliable nannies.

For me, Babysitting is about so much more than simply looking after children. It’s about building genuine connections, embracing the fun of being a kid and creating a safe environment where little ones feel comfortable to explore, play and be themselves. I love creating meaningful experiences, sharing in their little adventures and making sure every child feels cared for and included.

In my spare time you’ll usually find me hiking, down by the water, exploring on a road trip or enjoying Queenstown’s snow sports.

Nanny

I’m 26 years old and originally from Whakatāne. I moved to Queenstown at the beginning of this year after spending three years in London, where I worked as an au pair and later as a teacher assistant at a primary school. I now work in an early childhood centre and have experience caring for children from 6 months to 13 years old.

I'm passionate about creating a safe, caring and fun environment where children feel happy, comfortable and free to be themselves. I believe in building genuine connections with each child while providing reliable, attentive care that gives parents peace of mind, knowing their little ones are in safe and capable hands.
